Divisions among political parties will provide resources to evil forces: Khilafat Majlis

Call to stand by the cold-stricken people
Press Release: The Central Executive Council of the Khilafat Majlis held the meeting at their central office on Thursday.
At the meeting, the leaders emphasized political unity in the interest of the country and said that the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh is still facing threats. The hegemonists and their allies are involved in anti-national conspiracies. They are still lurking in the administration. Myanmar on our eastern border is unstable. There is a fear of a new influx of Rohingya refugees and the process of resettling the old ones in their own country is facing challenges. The country’s reform program is ongoing. In this situation, the unity of the patriotic students and the public must be further consolidated.
The mutual division of political parties will provide resources to the anti-national forces and help re-establish fascism.
At the moment, the Khilafat Majlis is working to form ‘unity, not division – a welfare state’ by nurturing the spirit of the July-August mass uprising. The benefits of the coup are being used in the field for the welfare of the country and the people. We once again strongly demand that the government prioritize the opinions of the relevant stakeholders, including political parties, in making important national decisions. We demand that effective initiatives be taken to control commodity prices and increase domestic production. We seek appropriate initiatives to reduce inflation and depreciation of the currency. We sincerely appeal to all those capable of the country, including the administration, to stand by the cold-stricken people.Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Ahmad Ali Qasemi presided over the executive meeting held at the central office of the Khilafat Majlis yesterday.
