Free seeds and fertilizers were distributed among 250 small marginal farmers of the upazila for the cultivation of mashkalai crops in the Kharip-2 season under the incentive program in the upazila area in the upazila area on Wednesday organized by the Bheramara upazila agriculture department.
Bheramara upazila executive officer Akash Kumar Kundu was present as the chief guest of the program, upazila assistant commissioner Bhumi Anwar Hossain was present as special guest. Upazila Agriculture Officer Mahmuda Sultana, Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Nasir Uddin, Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer Shammi Shirin, Upazila Women Affairs Officer Jannatul Ferdous, Upazila BRDP Officer Zahurul Islam were also present.
