Dhaka-Rajshahi flight starts today

The Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) has decided to resume domestic flights on the Dhaka-Rajshahi route after a three-and-a-half-month shutdown due to the coronavirus epidemic.

NovoAir said in a press release that they will operate two flights from Dhaka at 10.30 am and 4.30 pm every day. The two flights will return to Dhaka from Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi at 11:45 pm and 5:45 pm.

US-Bangla Airlines also said it would operate two daily flights on the Dhaka-Rajshahi route from Tuesday. Two US-Bangla flights will leave Dhaka for Rajshahi at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. From there two flights will return to Dhaka at 11:20 pm and 3:50 pm.

According to a US-Bangla press release, they have fixed the minimum price of Dhaka-Rajshahi one-way ticket at Rs 2,500 including all taxes and surcharges. If you buy a ticket from the airline’s website or mobile apps, you will get a 12 percent discount on the fare. In addition, US-Bangla Skyster customers will be able to collect tickets from the airline’s own sales office with a 12 percent discount.
