Sheikh Kabir says on FIU’s 10th anniversary

BM Report:

Bangladesh Non-Government University Association Chairman Sheikh Kabir Hossain said that private universities are now playing a good role in the expansion of higher education, although the unethical activities of some universities have given controversy to other institutions in this sector.

He made these remarks on Friday while cutting the cake on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Fareast International University (FIU), organized on the campus in Banani, Dhaka.

He also said, “FIU is moving fast among the private universities. It is soon shifting to a permanent campus. This campus is for students, teachers, officials, and employees.

University Vice-Chancellor Professor Raqib Ahmed said that FIU has taken a long journey towards a new destination by celebrating its 10th anniversary. We hope that this institution will play a role in nation-building.

FIU Trust Member Abdul Aziz, Founding Registrar Noorunnabi, Treasurer Munjur-e-Khoda Tarafder, Registrar Mashiur Rahman, and Deputy Registrar Mamun ul Matin, along with teachers, students, and officers and employees, were present.

In the afternoon, sports and cultural programs were organized on this occasion.
