BM Desk:

Medical services are inadequate compared to the needs of unemployed and destitute people in coastal areas. Therefore, the Bangladesh Coast Guard on Monday provided free medical care and necessary medical supplies to 407 helpless, poor, distressed, and children at Kandipara Darjibari premises under Lauhjong Thana, Munshiganj District.

Coast Guard Headquarters Medical Officer Surgeon Lt. Ahmed Rifat Tahmid, AMC, and local public representatives were present in the program. BCG Dhaka Zone arranged this campaign.

Since its inception, the Bangladesh Coast Guard has come forward to meet the various needs of the people of the coastal area. It provides medical services to the underprivileged.
