The board meeting of People’s Leasing and Financial Services Limited (PLFSL) will be held today at 3:30 PM. The meeting will approve the audited financial report for the financial year ended December 31, 2022 as well as declare the dividend to the investors.

According to the information, on June 14, 2019, two stock exchanges suspended the trading of shares of People’s Leasing for the first time. The trading of shares of the company is suspended as per Section 50(1) of the Listing Regulations. Later, the period of suspension was extended by 15 days. After five years, the company’s shares started trading in the ‘Z’ category on March 10.

In December last year, the board of directors of the company was restructured by the High Court. Former Senior District and Sessions Judge Hasan Shaheed Ferdous has been made the Chairman of the new Board of Directors of seven members.
