The Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) and Dhaka University’s International Business Department signed a memorandum of understanding on Sunday.
BFTI Chief Executive Officer Zafar Uddin, Dhaka University’s International Business Department Chairman Professor Kamal Uddin, Director of BFTI Obaidul Azam, teachers of the International Business Department of Dhaka University, and officials of BFTI were present during the ceremony.
BFTI leader Dr. Md. Zafar Uddin said, “The signing of this MoU will enhance the capacity of both institutions in terms of training and research, which will contribute to meeting business challenges.”
Professor Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin said, “As a think tank of the Ministry of Commerce, BFTI provides many studies, policy recommendations, and trade-related training of national and international importance. Through this, the scope of our work has expanded. I hope the economy and trade sector of Bangladesh will benefit from this agreement.”
